During the winter and spring of 2003 a devious plan was hatched, to gather materials from the underground and create art with it unlike anything seen before, presented in a hipster Billiamsburg Baaaruklyn Art Gallery. The result was inclusion of said artworks in 2 back to back shows at Open Ground gallery. The first show 'The Planning Game' included our own J. Anthony Anastasio's "For Your Protection". The next show, Bismark Brown (aka Neglected Places) included a wider array of works, including the 'electrify' 3rd rail series that has been described as 'Robert Douiseau on Crack'. Below is a photographic history of the fabulous, overcrowded opening.

Many thanks to the fellow artists, Open Ground Gallery posse, MC Hellon Wheels, The Happy Ending for rocking the house, Kristina the PR Goddess, and the models that went beyond the call of duty: Alex, Zeke, Dana, Wade, David and Jennifer,
