The entire, detailed history of the ltv squad will not be released at
this time. However, Listed below are significant dates. While LTV can
be traced back to the early 1980s, we only include here the days after
the actual name was coined and put into use.
| 1989ish |
The name 'LTV' is coined and used as a blanket name
for a minor graffiti writing crew composed of a few friends |
| 1990-1992 |
Graffiti and exploration activities increase. At the same time though,
2 key members move out of NYC, and a third is arrested by NYPD Vandal
Squad. 'Control ' retires from shaking the can and goes straight that
night. |
| 1992-1995 |
Frequent trips out of NYC. Eastern PA, Upstate and the UK were all
spots visited with a variety of persons. |
| 1995 |
The days of 'The Clue Patrol'. Control joins forces with like minded
dirtbags and explorers to antagonize college dorm staff and residents.
Included at this time was a mock 'party' held inside Freedom Tunnel,
involving the escorting of 20-30 drunken misguided students to a BYOB
party inside the tunnel that did not exist. |

Continued 'Clue' insanity. Regular UE trips begin with Ms. Rabbit
& SuperJew |
| 2001 (early) |
Control comes across UE on the web, after years of doing it without
realizing others groups were established and also into it, the LTV
site is developed and thrown online immediately |
| 2001 (mid) |
Control & Ms Rabbit meet RWS (RastaMan & Playland) and M
of Urbanlens at a Jinx meeting. It is immediately agreed that they'd
all be better off exploring together than with anyone else. Months
of intensive, weekend long exploration trips follow. |
| 2001, 9/11 |
The summer of innocence ends. |
| 2002 |
The LTV Spring invitational is held. 30 some odd explorers gather
for a day of exploring and socializing in Brooklyn, NYC. This was,
to the best of our knowledge, one of the first documented UE centered
meet ups ever held - predating Opex, Neopex, etc by years. |
| 2002-Summer |
Playland stricken by a sudden death. |
| 2003 |
Control gets engaged on Hell gate Bridge. Sick Santa Explorathon
brings a dozen drunk santas through the NYC ghetto on an exploration
rampage. |
| 2004 |
Exploration within NYC swells. new sites appear on the regular. |
| 2004- Summer |
LTV Regifting Program began. |
