There is one general rule about the climate of the subway system that remains almost uniformly true: When it's hot outside, it's hotter inside. the climate is largely a fairly unusual dry heat for this city. All of the electricity down here, the lights, the third rails, it all tends to keep the humidity under control.
However, this is one of them odd spots that is sufficently deep enough and far enough above the tracks with enough leaking water that for the first time in a long time, my camera lens actually fogged up.
So if you can't take the heat...
