This is one extremely fucked up place in my book. This tunnel lays under the ghetto. It runs for miles in either direction. Nothing but cold hard concrete and iron, straight tracks, and no bullshit.
I don't know what the train speeds here are offhand but I would say around the 70-90mph range sounds about right. And with 24/7/365 operations in effect, a timetable becomes a very handy item to have, especially considering the limited amounts of space you can hide from a train in.
No, this probably isn't a place for the faint of heart, and definitely not one for anyone who isn't willing to walk for miles just to see some shit few others have, but for those of us cut from this cloth, it is well worth the risks.
