Dot com Death. A Vulture Capitalism Break and Enter.
Dot coms and death have walked hand in hand. And on a fine winter day I happened to join with some 'vulture capitalists' in exploring and picking apart the office bones of one dead unnamed dot com. Walking through this darkened office was both eerie and exciting, for you truly did not know what might be left behind in the next office. Some rooms where empty, some were filled with signs of life and items of value. All were a little more empty after our unauthorized Ping-Pong riffic autopsy.

The flash of the camera is the only light to be had in the 'cubicle jungle', where not even dilbert can hear you scream... though you can descend one floor...

Some items were packed up, but never departed the property.

A batch of old computers were to be found, normally a jackpot for a vulture capitalist, however, they were cheap, no name boxes, some missing parts.

Dead plant speaks from it's grave of the time pasted since this offices' closure, a mere 3 or 4 months prior.

Crappy Ikea type furniture was standard office issue here, much of which was left behind for the taking.

Steps down lead to another empty floor.

Some personal items were left behind, such as this photo amongst a clutter in one out of the way office. Look at them fun bags! Not bad! Let's hope she makes a lot of dough to support whoever it was she knew that got laid off here! Man cannot live of breast milk alone.
