SNIFF SNIFF SNORT: ENJOY COKE (AND LEAD PAINT AND ASBESTOS)
An informant advised us of a 10-10 situation, whereby large amounts of coke was being stored in an old distribution center known to be a squat and target of local vandals. Rather than call for backup, we decided this was best kept to ourselves in order to ensure a timely investigation. Upon 84 we found that 90U was not an issue, thus we immediately ran a 75V. Whether or not any product was confinscated, snorted or injested is not anything that we will be filing in this version of this report.

Equipment down here is in good shape.

Next we go upstairs... to the fire damaged second floor. Here, concrete construction maintained structural integrity despite repeated burns.

The intensity of the heat melted office windows...

Oversized Interior

Now a word from our sponsor...

First the basement, complete with long halls and little grime, needed inspection

One of two Titusville Boilers, Circa 1960.

Fire safety: Note the soot line on the walls of this hallway - Smoke stays high, providing crawl space below where one can breathe and escape..

More dramatic than the melted glass is this warped ladder to the rooftop - despite being buckled by the heat, it is still sturdy and climbable years later (though rust will slowly eat it away).
