A building wit a classy bridge into it's front door... too bad it's
completely FUBAR in there.
This building
is collapse-tastic!

One of the older, burnt out buildings
Believe it
or not, this is the above building's interior. Trees as thick as
those at Renwick Ruin
grow within it.
Shitting in

We drive up and notice the first large,
abandoned battered building along the road which we didn't even see
the last time we were here... That just goes to show the difference
between seeing things during the summer, when the leafs are big and
the brush is thick, and autumn, when everything is naked and you've
done at least a little more research on the location...
We swing around, park, and pile out of the Rabbitmoble. Before we
know it, we're immersed in The Marty Method - plowing through brush
so thick our feet ain't even on the ground climbing through it. When
we reach the path, we quickly encounter some local kids that Ms Rabbit
starts talking up a storm with. Seems we've found some willing tour
guides... Joe and Clark are their names, young and intrigued just
as we are by this battered location.
...And thus we're lead, to and through several of these battered old
hospital buildings. Four have the exact same floor layout as the one
before them, and all are in a battered state of disrepair. According
to the Joe and Clark, many kids play Paintball here, and there is
plenty of evidence to that fact with the paintball splotches all over
the walls... or what's left of the walls... most of which already
have a coating of not-too-great graffiti on them in any case. You
can also find unbroken paint balls, as well as a field behind a building
where old doors and debris are used as a front line between opposing
paint ball teams, defending their battered building bases.
As we continue through the campus, there are some collapsed buildings,
perviously burned and battered, as well as more graffiti, and graffiti
writers no less, taking in some practice after cleaning dead vines
from a brick wall. we only find one building, a garage type structure,
that still has a measurable amount of furniture, and a christmas tree.
Science journal articles tacted to a wall date back to 1985.
As we finally approach the rear of the campus, we come across buildings
that can be only compared to the renwick ruin: large, ancient, fire
damaged, and home to not only lost dead hermaphrodite souls (heh heh
heh!), but to trees, weeds and grass - all growing within the walls
of the building. this is all fascinating to view, and to be able to
take your time to view, unlike renwick, where frequent police patrols
disrupt at any moment.
Despite the complete ruined, destroyed nature of this place, we look
forward to a return visit, and to eventually digging up some good
historic information about this paintballers paradise.
Aero gets his ups...
As does Emro...

Not to be out flanked by DC gone throwy-nutty
Battered Bus from nearby Sea View...

An Xmas tree in one partially active, partically destroyed by fire
building.

Ms. Rabbit may as well be a teacher ushering a class into this decrepit
doorway...

An Interior of one of the more battered buildings. Much bad graffiti
can be found in here, as well as some better stuff.
