The Point of GP. NYC.
I've known of it's existence for years. A complex of warehouses and factories along the waterfront. Buildings of unusual size. For years, the same brand of polish squatters to be found at the 'beer refinery' filled one of the lots outside the complex, with still more likely living inside. A section of the complex was secured, and still is until this very day. Finally though, last year the buildings were cleared out of squatters and 'secured'.

Well, "secured" is a somewhat relative term now isn't it?

We climbed up and in. Picked our way up through the vast darkness to the rooftop. Getting high once again. The view was well worth the wait and the effort.

The shadowy, lightless complex of warehouses on the waterfront, with the city behind it...

One might also view the williamsburg bridge and associated/abbreviated NYC skyline.

Midtown...

The nearby "save the palestine' (sic) / "I love bunny" tower. It should be noted that this photo is taken from atop one of the warehouses, which is 7 stories high. The only way to the top of this tower is a shakey rusty ladder.
