Grain - 4.25.2004
| This is one of those places
that's always been there but just never really has been bothered with.
The grain terminal is a huge abandoned grain silo that has sat unused
for quite some time. years ago, access to it was very easily achieved
via hopping through one of any number of holes in a fence that surrounded
it. More recently though the property is was bought and used mostly
for parking (parking of loaded garbage trucks too, which is why the
neighborhood surrounding this place smells so horrible), and thus
walled in with a thick block cement wall that is at least 20 feet
high. A security guard is even posted in a trailer by the entrance
gate. Not that any of that really matters much... because when you
want in, you get in. |

Got to love when a building just sorta hangs right over the water
like that.
