The
Metro North train graveyard hasn't
changed too much in the last few years. Much of what was once in it has now
been either donated to tourist railroads (several of the FL9s, though reportedly
they were in horrible shape mechanically and most won't run again anytime
soon), or cut up into piles of scrap metal (Spv's, E10Bs). Strangely, all
of the FL9 engines that served on Long Island are still here, including the
201, which never did work right... New to the mix though are two old office/work
passenger cars, surprisingly, they still have windows. how long will they
last? Probably not long at all...
