The ultimate gamble

A year ago, someone died on these tracks.

The news story about his death was sparse on details. He apparently wasn’t hit by a train, and was walking the tunnel with someone else who was not injured.

Normally I’d assume they were tagging up, but there’s not a whole lot of graffiti down here. I recognized some of the names on the walls, and know they’re all alive…

Thus what this person was doing on the tracks remains a mystery to me. One thing is for sure though: He was willing to take a gamble that few people on this planet have the nerve to pull off.

NOTE: It sometimes takes a short while for comments to be approved - unfortunately there's a lot of spam comments that come in. I absolutely love when y'all share personal stories of friends relatives etc who worked in these places. It really helps capture what these places were like before they closed up shop.

If you're feeling salty, argumentative comments completely devoid of facts (supply links to support your argument) will not be published. Got a case to state? come with the details.
