Looking for Loot

What’s The Goss?!
After months of hype, Carl C. Icahn—owner of the abandoned Trump Casino in Atlantic City (a repugnant Trump supporter)—claimed that allowing someone to push the button to blow up Trump Casino was a liability. He instead claims he’ll donate $175K to the Atlantic City Boys and Girls club, but I’ll believe that shit when they cash the check. Nothing any Trump supporter says can ever be taken at face value again.

The scheduled demolition date for this building was supposed to be last week. Now it’s looking like maybe February.

Remember P*nis Man? He has apparently plead guilty and is awaiting sentencing. Defo not a good legal sich for our big balled buddy.

Art Crimes Are Beautiful
Some Cops in the Bronx stole their own police car, stripped it, and then used it for Copaganda. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m right—but the fact is cops lie all the time, and that this story is about as trustworthy as the Hunter Biden Laptop tale…

Meanwhile, a Florida man said “Hold My Beer!” and stole another cop car.

Shorty’s Short Shorts
The former Central Islip Psych campus is going to be redeveloped—which sucks—but it won’t be bulldozed. If you’ve never got around to exploring that jawn, now is defo the time.

An artist has redecorated the exterior of a ‘bando Rite Aid in Tacoma and I’m here for it.

Fresno isn’t on fire this week, but it does now feature a drive-thru bando 😛

Elon Musk wants to build tunnels under Miami because when you’re digging holes in sand and porous limestone WHAT COULD GO WRONG?

An abandoned police station in Jackson (MS) is going to be demolished.

Take a minute to check out this abandoned watch factory in Rockford.

There’s a massive ‘bando hotel in Topeka, which is the perfect camping spot on the way to Santa Fe.

Yup, You CAN still buy gritty bandos in Newark. Because, Newark.

Bando BBQ
As shocking as it is to type these words, I’ve read zero reports of abandoned building fires this past week. Thanks Biden LOL

International Update
Manchester has an abandoned railway workers club and who wants to buy it with me?

The lads in MullinGAAAARRRRR are boozing it up in a pedestrian tunnel and the town council of ole people are jealous the youth having a good cracc again.

This is something: A brand new tunnel in Vietnam is going to be closed right after it opened, because the government forgot to pay the rent.

A new freight tunnel is under construction in the UK and someone needs to go paint that shit.

A new four lane tunnel is being built in Colombia and can we get more South America action?

And that’s a wrap…
Listen y’all need to buy yourselves a copy of Exploring 5ptz, so @sarahvitone can get an LTV tattoo on her ass.

Honestly, it’s a fun read and (dare I say) great set of photos documenting what became of perhaps the most famous graffiti spot in the world.

Comments

NOTE: It sometimes takes a short while for comments to be approved - unfortunately there's a lot of spam comments that come in. I absolutely love when y'all share personal stories of friends relatives etc who worked in these places. It really helps capture what these places were like before they closed up shop.

If you're feeling salty, argumentative comments completely devoid of facts (supply links to support your argument) will not be published. Got a case to state? come with the details.
