Brooklyn Navy Yard: Scattered Props

Back in the day, some of the buildings within the yard were rented for video production, and the larger props would be left outside. I never really knew what weird prop I might find sitting just around the corner, awaiting trash collection or use in the next scene. It made walking around the yard an exciting adventure.

As usual very direct and succinct. Love the garbage full of discarded lines.

Any future piece on Bayside Fuel in the offing?

Oh heck yes. It’s on the long backlog. Sad to see it go.

Are any other Brooklyn Navy Yard facilities up for sale by any chance?

I forget offhand which agency but the city still owns property and manages it. Not sure if there’s any scruffy buildings left in there at this point.
