What’s The Goss?!
Y’all heard about this Hotel Roosevelt tunnel connecting to Grand Central? If there’s one thing I love it is an old underground passage that few know of.

LOL the Secret Service and NYPD are planning to pull back from Trump Tower and the slow decline begins! Trump owes various creditors at least ONE BILLION dollars in loans, many of which come due in two years. Perhaps Trump Tower will be foreclosed on, and become a ‘bando? Maybe New Yorkers will get their shit together and just burn the fucking building to the ground before that happens? Either way Trump is 100% not welcome in NYC ever again.

Subway Madness
Despite ridership being way down, the number of reported incidents of people in NYC subway tunnels is holding steady.

That New Tunnel Smell
Silly lawsuits that were designed to halt the epic Fehmarn Belt tunnel project (between Denmark and Germany) have been dismissed. Would love to explore that construction when it happens…

Lithuania is also plotting a new road tunnel under their capital city.

ALLLL the NY & NJ elected derps are now doomsday profits looking to give their construction trade union buddies contracts to build the new Gateway tunnels, before the old Pennsy tubes collapse. (Yes, I said Profits because capitalism is trash, though those old tunnels definitely ain’t guuna last…)

Shorty’s Short Shorts
Here’s a feel good story about a woman who was living in the drains under Las Vegas and was helped into an apartment.

This sounds like the most Florida ‘bando ever, but seriously, can we just cut the whole damn state off?

Activists in Tacoma took over an abandoned school to highlight the need for homeless housing and uh, yeah. Housing should be a right. We’ve got hundreds of abandoned schools all over this country that could be put to use.

Meanwhile, down in Tulsa, their fire chief continues to be very vocal about this danger, and how squatters often try to conceal where they are living.

International Update

Of course UK urbexors found someone’s ashes in a bando that also contained “evidence of Satanic practices”.  At least the explorers are trying to track down some relatives to hand them off to… Meanwhile, another UK explorer came across this well-beaten abandoned home that still contained a billion old family photos.

Speaking of predictable predictability: demolition of a Mexican drug lord’s abandoned mansion has unearthed a ‘secret tunnel‘.

Hamas had a big ass tunnel built under the border between Gaza and Israel and wow maybe that wouldn’t be necessary if Palestinians weren’t treated like prisoners in their own country.

This artists memorial to an unknown person who died in a ‘bando is just the sort of energy we need.
