What’s The Goss?!
The main story of the week is a young woman who was found dead in the old Fulton Fish Market “New market” building. All of the reporting on this story so far parrots the same details given by cops, though the Daily Mail (UK) also takes it further and reports on the history of the building.

Obvi this building is no stranger to NYC explorers and graffiti artists. I’ve explored it a few times with a half dozen people and even shot some nudes there last year. It’s a really unique space with a great location and a ton of history. It has been accessible for a few years now. You can see the big explorer-cut fence hole cut in some of the press photos of this joint.

The media reports claim that the building has been used as a frequent home to the homeless though this story seems like hearsay. While there were a few dirty, very old mattresses in there, the building is very exposed to the elements and filled with bugs—not an ideal place for sleeping. I saw no one living here, nor have any other explorers that I know have mentioned running into anyone sleeping in there.

IDK what happened to this woman but I’ll curiously keep an eye on this story. 19 years old is far too soon to go. RIP fellow bando traveler.

GRAFFITI & RAVE FUN TIME
Covidiots threw a party in the highly radioactive abandoned Wolff-Alport warehouse in Ridgewood and were busted by cops. They could have waited a month and probably had no problems but I guess them acid tabs weren’t going to eat themselves.

The NYPD has launched a new campaign where you can complain about graffiti to by emailing them at Graffiti@nypd.org. Have fun kids!

The roof of a ‘bando synagogue in Lviv has collapsed and I’d rate the chances of the building being saved as verrrrry low.

Check out this big abandoned pool building in the UK. Also in the UK, urbexors found a skull, and yet another forgotten ‘secret’ tunnel was uncovered.

Meanwhile, in China, a 6 foot large Wasp’s nest was found in a ‘bando. Yo don’t fuck with that shit—that’s how Covid-21 comes out!
