Creepy Crawlers

What’s the Goss
YO. is Trump’s old 757 now abandoned? This CNN article talks up the idea that its days are numbered, which is technically true I’m sure, but I suspect it’s not quite ready for the boneyard yet. Still, security looks like trash and I’ll buy anyone who explorers it some NFT farts!

Fuck it let’s rebrand NFT: Here’s one: Nice Fucken Tunnels. Got a better idea? Go for it. Nice Fucken T_____. OMG GET YOUR MINDS OUTTA THE GUTTER!

Besides you can’t go motor boating in the gutter.

On a more serious note, an NYC subway hit a homeless man living in the Lex tunnel under Harlem. RIP Homeless dude. May your death, and this near miss over in the UK, serve as a reminder to us all not to fuck around with the tunnel gods.

This assessment of how Rosalee Sanchez murder could have been prevented is perhaps one of the most pedestrian, pointless articles I’ve read this week. It proposes no solutions other than ‘lock them all up’, as if sending anyone to Rikers ever prevented them from doing more crime later.

Meanwhile in Ohio, an unnamed woman did a late night bridge climb and reportedly couldn’t get herself back down. It begs the question: was this woman actually a cat? Seriously though: They didn’t release her name to the press but they’ll put Drift on blast for climbing some spots discreetly and not ending up with a dozen first responders showing up…

Zeus Bust
NYPD’s rolling out a full press of copaganda on their arrest last week of NYC graffiti writer Zeus. Zeus bombed a few trains and subway stops last year, using his own tag (kind of a no no for doing clean trains). It’s hilarious to me that NYPD has made a big deal out of this bust, considering how any serious detective could have busted him months, hell, years ago. Meanwhile every week keeps bringing more clean train hits…

The overly aggro war on bandos
Y’all heard this story out of Detroit, where a woman bought a fixer upper from a previous owner, only to find out the house had somehow fallen into the hands of the ‘Detroit Land Trust‘, which is now trying to resell the house and screw her out of the money she put into it? According to my dude Nailhed, the DLTA is a shady ass organization that fucks up a lot legal paperwork, so they can resell properties and gentrify neighborhoods. Every city seems to have some version of this: In NYC, it has been a racist policy of foreclosing on black home owners for ridiculous stuff like overdue water bills. It’s gross that this is still going on today…

Shorty’s Short Shorts
A fowl wind blew down a bando house in NJ and damn that spot must have been well decayed.

The Penn Station powerhouse needs to be saved. I am very psyched that my pals over at Untapped Cities are also pushing this cause now.

Check out this fully functional railroad crossing, where no road actually exists. ๐Ÿ˜›

Bando BBQ
A big old cold storage warehouse in BahBANK! burned to the ground last week. BAH BAAANNNK!

International Update
TUNNEL OF DEATH! Mon Dieu!

A 400 year old secret tunnel was found under a fort in Lahore (Pakistan) recently. Cool stuff…

Paris is building a ton of new tunnels and it makes the US look pathetic.

And that’s a wrap…
Spring has sprung. Strap on your strap ons and go fuck shit up.

NOTE: It sometimes takes a short while for comments to be approved - unfortunately there's a lot of spam comments that come in. I absolutely love when y'all share personal stories of friends relatives etc who worked in these places. It really helps capture what these places were like before they closed up shop.

If you're feeling salty, argumentative comments completely devoid of facts (supply links to support your argument) will not be published. Got a case to state? come with the details.
