‘Bando News and Messy Views
OK people seriously, if you’re going to surf know your turf. The MTA reports that the number of people surfing subways has shot way up, despite some high profile injuries and deaths.

Speaking of 7 trains, you too can purchase the old 7 redbird parked outside Queens Borough Hall, for as low as $6500. Sounds super cool right? I’ve discussed this myself with a few people… So what’s the catch? Transport. Lifting the car onto a truck would cost a small fortune. Lifting it off said truck would cost a small fortune. We’re talking at least $15-30k, and that doesn’t include the property you’d need to place it on…

If you really want this subway, it’s going to cost you somewhere around $50k or more. In theory you could sell permits to anyone wanting to tag it, and maybe use it as a film shoot location, but this is a very long game. Best of luck to whoever eventually gets this thing.

You don’t have to step on a third rail or get hit by a train to die on subway tracks. One bad fall can be more than enough if you hit your head the wrong way. We all take this shit for granted but the tunnel gods are a vengeful lot and they’ll take their sacrifices whatever way they can.

This story is so twisted it could only happen in Detroit. An older woman with dementia was apparently abducted by some goon who lived in an abandoned apartment complex. He kept her locked up in the basement for three days, before neighbors and activists found her (because you KNOW Detroit cops ain’t doing shit).

Vancouver is considering doing something I’ve always said NYC needs to do: create legal graffiti zones.

Up in Boston, for 36 weekends the Sumner, a tunnel that carries vehicles from Logan Airport and East Boston to downtown will be closed 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday mornings. Sounds like a good time to go explore it.

YOU’VE HEARD OF FATBERGS, BUT WHAT ABOUT RAG MONSTERS?

Rounding out the top news of the day is this story out of South Africa. The headline says it all. “Eight Passengers Got Off a Qatar Airways Plane in Johannesburg And Tried to Sneak Into South Africa Through Secret Tunnels”

New Tunnels
Yet another cross-border drug tunnel was found running from under a house in San Diego to Tijuana. See what I did there? Sure the product is coming north but the cash is going south.

If you own property and want to build a secret tunnel, just go for it like this guy did.

Kinda-Sorta explore a religious cult ghost town by clicking this bait.

A tunnel project in Antwerp lead to the discover of some severe chemical pollution thanks to 3M.

Atlanta’s oversized airport is getting 700 feet of much needed new transit tunnel.

An abandoned charter school in Florida became a three alarm blaze. Unfortunately Rob DeSantis was not inside.

Bando Burning up and Biting the Dust
YAY! Fresno is on fire again!

An abandoned carpet store in Canada burned up and well that’s what happens when no one munches on it. What?

A good sized abandoned warehouse in Nashville burned out of control to the point of collapse in broad daylight. No word yet on who could afford all the god damned gasoline to torch a building that big, that fast.

St. Elmo’s fire is actually a dead corpse in a burned out building in Illinois. (C’mon I can’t be the only person who gets that reference can I?)

Here’s one you don’t see every day: a London tube station was evacuated after a tunnel fire.

Wrap up...
IDK maybe setting up a country with an un-elected, unaccountable theological supreme council wasn’t such a good idea afterall? If you or anyone you know needs some tips on how to get an abortion, here’s my tips. Protip: it’s worth a read if you’re doing any kind of crime, including urbex.

That said, guys, don’t want kids? Snip snip that shit. Vasectomies for everyone. They should be drive up snip snip here’s an ice pop have a nice day.
