Who and What, Maybe.

Who
If the LTV Squad were t be summarized in one sentence, it might sound a little like this: Active since the late 70's and officially founded in the fabulous 1980's, the LTV Squad is NYC's longest running exploration team. We are a group of professionals, historians, artists and infrastructure fanatics that are in love with all things abandoned or not commonly seen by the public.

The LTVSquad.com website, launched in 2001, overhauled and updated constantly, serves our propaganda needs and as a photo blog style catalog of some of what we do on the regular...

What? In a nutshell, we explore 'forbidden places' and document all around the NYC (and beyond) area.

We're an extra set of eyes and ears, going where just about no one else would want to, learning and having fun in the process. If we see something seriously wrong, chances are we'll notify the right people.

We're fanatical about doing what we do safely. No need for risking your ass to see something when chances are you can just ask someone that belongs there if they'd mind showing you around... No need to wander through some building that is about to collapse. No need to put yourself or anyone else in any sort of harms way...

We like the old NYC. The NYC that every day is getting paved over by developers and the politicians they have in their back pockets.

We blame lawyers for our hobby being frowned upon. In other countries, if you want to look around some abandoned place, no one cares. Here, everything is a liability. F that. What ever happened to 'Personal Responsibility'?

We're just like you... except our hobby is, well, probably different than yours.
