Reboot Anarchy
NYC needs to be rebooted. Our political machine process is stuck in an infinite loop, whereby the Bloomberg-Developer-DOT-Wall Street complex continues to throw viral code at the population – corrupting our ability to survive in our homes and on our streets. The error messages – people killing themselves in front of trains, mom and pop stores being flushed out for sprawlmart, and rampant NYPD Quotaism and pepper spraying abuse, are generally ignored and suppressed in the media.NYC is like using a Micorsoft product. It usually appears ok on the surface, until without warning you’re punched in the face with a system crash that destroys everything you worked for.
This is NYC 2011. These are the Slaps to the monitor telling you it’s time to reboot.
Don’t worry, the kicking and punching is coming.

Hey wait a minute, what about those slaps?
Surely you’re not done talking about those F5 slaps right?

9321, NYC’s Latest Abandoned Locomotive
When several graffiti artists told me there was an abandoned locomotive stuffed far back behind rows of cars at a nearby rail yard – seemingly abandoned. Given the high value of these large American made beasts, it seemed rather unlikely – but sure enough, there it was.

Subway Madness Ad Campaign Takes No Prisoners!
The reality is, LTVPress is a no-budget operation that can’t afford to advertise anywhere. What money does come in from our publications is funneled directly into new publications, of which there will be some awesome good-cause type books coming up.
In the meantime, we still need some press for Subway Madness to bring in that cash. Word of mouth will surely tell over time that this is a fucking awesome book that doesn’t need big play and high amazon rankings. But to get that word of mouth out there, we need some press – though we know no one on this planet is going to give us that press for free.
So we’ve come up with these awesome ads to go with the book. Hopefully others will pick up and run these free, or just post them in their blogs – not so much as advertising but as hilarious free content. I mean really, the captions wrote themselves (and in some cases are direct quotes from those photographed).
Fuck no, we didn’t ask anyone in these ads if we can have their permission to do this. If they cry about it we’ll send them a free copy and a box of kleenex – before using the entire affair in another blog post to – you guessed it – get more publicity for the book.
All of that said – check these out – and fuck yes they’re funny enough to be worth clicking through!
