Safety is an illusion

What’s the Goss
You love to see it: MUL crew taking out a 7 train, nearly 15 years after Utah, Ether & co. did the first whole clean train for which they were famously thrown in Rikers for.

This story about a JonOne’s artwork being vandalized is absolutely strange. I’m on the ‘this gives him some great free press’ side, even if his work was slightly modified. Just looking at it, it’s hard to imagine that someone wouldn’t have interacted with it.

The Post has a story about movies being abandoned Bowery platform. Closed in the early 00’s, I still love that me and my dude C were the first to explore it mere hours after it closed.

Driftershoots Isaac Wright was finally released from jail to await trial at home, and his case in Michigan was dropped completely. All them letters y’all sent the judge in support had the desired affect. Now about that overzealous, racist ass cop who stalked him…

These new Tesla Tunnels under Las Vegas are more underwhelming than Tiger Wood’s ability to drive.

Check out these dudes sneaking past security in this UK amusement park spot,

ACAB & Allies
NYPD’s officer “union” is warning that their cops personal cars are being targeted by vandals and, well, I’m not sure what they expected.

Meanwhile, one of NYPD’s training manuals was leaked on the internet and boy howdy they sure do got some racism up in there…

Shorty’s Short Shorts
File this story under governments are garbage: a families’ home was rendered unlivable by a landslide, and the town wants them to pay $1500 for leaving their house unoccupied. The photos in this story are surreal. This family lost a huge investment, and will likely have to fight hard for their insurance money.

This story is a mix of Copaganda meets Mole People: a homeless person got stuck in drain tunnel and just happened to be found by cop on patrol. Good rescue for sure, but yo get that man someplace safe to sleep.

Every now and then fake news makes it through my filters and the title of this one is amazing: “Vatican digs illegal tunnel to ‘exhume King David’s DNA and bring Messiah back to life'” YES! LET’S DO IT! BRING ON THE ZOMBIE JESUS!

Check out this one of a kind story, about a railroad preservation group in NJ that leased out a bunch of passenger cars and locomotives to a company that went bankrupt and abandoned the trains all over the country.

The long abandoned Grove Court Apartments in downtown Montgomery are about to be cleaned up and refurbished. This comes a year after the city sued the owners for leaving it blighted.

Also down south, the exterior wall of a long abandoned building in downtown Meridian collapsed last week. Hey, if the building doesn’t completely collapse, at least there’s easy access now. At least that’s what your mom said.

Check out this dude who dug tunnels under his house in London just for the fuck of it,

Charleston is budgeting more money to demolish more abandoned homes and idk wtf leave them bandos alone.

LOL check out this house that Steve Jobs apparently abandoned on purpose, attempting to let it decay enough to be bulldozed. Doesn’t get more white privilege than that.

Abandoned Building BBQ: BURN IT ALL
An abandoned cotton mill in Gee-orgah burned up last week, and that’d a damn shame right there.

A large abandoned apartment building in Gary burned up last week. Located across the street from one of the abandoned schools, this regal building had sat decaying for years. Judging from this video the fire was fully involved, and the whatever is left of it will either have to come down or will collapse. At one point the building was owned by a former Mayor, and housed U.S. Steel executives.

LOL check out this abandoned trailer shanty that they call a schoolhouse in Ohio. If someone told me that shit was a school I’d try to burn it all two nights in a row! Persistence pays anonymous arson person! Burn it all! YOU GOT THIS!

And that’s a wrap…
2021 is shaping up to be a long year of Andrew Yang saying incredibly stupid shit in an incredibly uninformed attempt at becoming mayor of NYC. Someone tell my dude to just stop. Dianne for NYC, full stop.

NOTE: It sometimes takes a short while for comments to be approved - unfortunately there's a lot of spam comments that come in. I absolutely love when y'all share personal stories of friends relatives etc who worked in these places. It really helps capture what these places were like before they closed up shop.

If you're feeling salty, argumentative comments completely devoid of facts (supply links to support your argument) will not be published. Got a case to state? come with the details.
