What’s The Goss?!
My dude HERT is selling some canvases, essentially trying to buy his freedom from the absolutely endless probation that the state of Pennsylvania has tied him to. If you want to truly help a great artist who has been screwed by the system, this is a great way. I only hung with him a few times before he had to do his time but he’s a great dude that doesn’t deserve the endless psychological torment they’ve tossed at him.

Y’all heard about this Hungarian photographer who social networked her way into a bunch of fancy ass high rises? Where’s the crime?!

Subway Madness
Cops finally made an arrest in the murder of subway operator Garrett Goble. Turns out they’re going to charge someone they originally interviewed back in March. I just hope they got the right guy. Did he confess (without being abused?) or has some new evidence has come to light? Why did it take the NYPD 8+ months to make this arrest?

Check out this new pedestrian tunnel connected to Grand Central. I really love these short little tunnel projects. Maybe some day pedestrian tunnels will connect from GCT to the tunnel system under Rockefeller center. Want fewer traffic deaths? Separate foot traffic from cars and bikes entirely.

ACAB
To the surprise of no one, the NYPD was cited as the actual cause for many of the riots we saw in NYC this past spring. And now hundreds of cops who are guilty of terrorizing New Yorkers are retiring with higher pensions due to the overtime they stole.

To address the retirements, the NYPD is now hiring 900 more cops, and DeBlasio is defending it. The city is about to go bankrupt next year and this dumbass thinks more cops who are refusing to work is the answer… Ridiculous.

Shorty’s Short Shorts
If you got a spare million you can push the button blowing up Trump’s old casino in Atlantic City. Now too bad we can’t fill it with Q-Anon believing, incel losers nazi motherfuckers beforehand.

Yo this texas murder spree is wild—complete with two dead bodies left in a ‘bando. All because of a bad car deal? WTF…

That fuel Michigan fuel tunnel project just keeps on making headlines…

New Jersey elected officials are getting ready to fight New York over the gateway tunnel because Cuomo is a fucking snake.

What’s going on with Buffalo’s abandoned Trico building redevelopment? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A historic gasholder building in Concord, New Hampshire may not survive the winter. An old RR freighthouse out in WNY is also about to bite the dust…

And down in North Cackalacky, another old set of office buildings was imploded over the weekend.

Bando BBQ
Got some real interesting ‘bando/not bando fires this past week.

Last Friday there was a fire on the roof of the new 5ptz: Sounds like someone wanted to rooftop but also realize it’s fucken BRICK up there. Rooftopping in the winter is some serious shit and I don’t see all that many people playing right now. C’mon ya bishes get on some layers!

There was also a fire in the old ‘Luv Tunnel’, a spot we discovered and first documented two decades ago. This former NYC RR freight siding and yard wye has been a known homeless encampment for decades.

Quarantinewhile, down in Atlanta, a two floor bando apartment building got toasted, and abandoned office buildings in Richmond and Phoenix went up in flames.

International Update
Israel “accidentally” fired a tank at an abandoned building in Gaza. Yeah ok. #FreePalestine.

And that’s a Wrap:
If you haven’t copped one yet, “Exploring 5 Pointz” is out now. All the mail carriers are bogged the fuck down right now though, so if you want to get one before say, March next year, NOW is the time to order. I’ll be shipping another batch out sometime in later January, but I expect that batch to sell out fast too. (If you already ordered yours, you should have it by now, or it’s on it’s way).
